- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene is a plus
- Proven experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role (preferred)
Description
We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Waiter(ress) to join our team. You will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Your role will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly.
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or special dietary needs).
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set before guests arrive.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Assist in setting up and closing the restaurant as required.
- Upsell menu items and promotions.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow.
