Hotel & Business Development Manager
BSc/HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in hotel management, sales, or business development
Proven track record in increasing hotel revenue, partnerships, or client retention
Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM tools, WhatsApp Business, email, and social platforms
Willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when necessary
Must reside in or near Port Harcourt
We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and results-driven Hotel & Business Development Manager to lead the operations and growth of The Crib Lifestyle Hotel, a boutique hospitality experience that fuses art, food, and culture. This hybrid role combines hotel management with business development to increase occupancy rates, enhance brand visibility, and unlock new revenue streams.
You will oversee day-to-day hotel operations while actively developing partnerships, events, and marketing strategies that drive bookings, corporate engagements, and guest satisfaction.
Oversee all front office, housekeeping, room service, and guest services operations
Lead, train, and manage hotel staff to ensure exceptional service delivery
Ensure smooth check-ins/check-outs and handle guest inquiries or complaints
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance
Monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations
Coordinate room service and event catering with The Crib Foods team
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement strategies to grow occupancy rates and overall revenue
Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with businesses, event planners, and vendors
Create and promote custom hotel packages (corporate stays, weekend escapes, etc.)
Drive sales through social media, WhatsApp, email marketing, and booking platforms
Plan and host hotel-based events to attract guests and drive brand visibility
Build corporate relationships to secure bookings for meetings, retreats, and accommodation
Prepare weekly reports on bookings, revenue performance, and business leads
